Autoimmune disease: not a disease but a name for something we don’t know?
First of all, best wishes for a healthy and fit 2016!
Second, I still begin this new year by expressing my concerns about the health of my fellow man. Even in my immediate circle of friends, family and acquaintances. Why?
More and more people are becoming victims of this modern society. Rheumatism, heart failure, diabetes, cancer it is no longer an exception.
Next year the Netherlands will have 6 million chronically ill people, while a human being is naturally made to be healthy!
The Dutch Heart Foundation predicts that by 2025, 1 in 3! people will have heart problems!
Nearly 2 in 3 people get cancer! We have 1 million people with Diabetes.
Our children are experiencing chronic conditions at an increasingly younger age. And then when you talk about good nutrition in schools you are almost reviled. So my question at the beginning of 2016 is: HOW CAN THIS BE? And why are we letting this happen? Am I worried? YES!
Graves, Crohn’s, Ulcerosa, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Obesity, Thyroid problems, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Depression and other brain disorders and so on. More and more people are experiencing this. Diseases in which the autoimmune system responds inappropriately are called autoimmune diseases and are the most common chronic disease. Complaints often involve muscles, joints, skin and internal organs, such as kidneys, heart, lungs and blood vessels. They are a result of many factors of our “modern ” society. In the past, people did not know these. As babies and children, they are often not there either. Later in life, they often arise “suddenly” and we are left puzzled. But is it? If we look closely, in most cases over the course of life you see a buildup of many literal “drops that make the bucket overflow” and suddenly give the diagnosis of a particular condition.
Although one is often led to believe that the disease itself is the problem, this is not true. Therefore, the names for these conditions are made up to place and recognize the symptoms so that people know what is being talked about. Chronic inflammation over long periods of time throughout the body eventually causes immune system dysfunction.
But it’s hereditary, right? NO! Yes, perhaps there is a gene involved, but always it is the environment that “triggers” whether a gene is expressed. We call this the “epi genetics.” The role of the environment on our genetic material, our DNA ( the blueprint of our genetic material that determines who we are and what we look like).
Medical treatment usually involves the use of medication. The amount and types often increase over the course of a treatment. Think Naproxen, Methotrexate, Remicade, Corticosteroids, Azathioprine and so on. Being hooked up to an IV and injecting yourself are then considered normal. More normal often than talking about the causes such as one of the most important factors: nutrition. With the use of heavy medication, the immune system is suppressed.
“Causes are usually not known” we are told. But then, how can you treat something if you don’t know what you are treating?
It is therefore about suppression. Not surprisingly, “immunosuppressive drugs” are often used. So that means that you put the natural defense system on hold or turn it off. Is that helpful? Well, decide that for yourself. Compare it to a highly sophisticated alarm system or computer security system that is continuously attacked by unknown causes (intruders). The easiest thing to do then is to turn off the alarm and send security home. But yes what do you think happens then?
Or do you want to know who is attacking each time so you can specifically eliminate these causes? And often this is easier than you think. As long as you know what the causes are.
In this modern society, stress, alcohol, smoking, drugs, inadequate diet, fungi, parasites, viruses, bacteria, environmental toxins (air, water and environmental pollution) are all causes that cause our immune system to become overloaded.
I regularly give lectures on this subject and it is fascinating to see how quickly you can often reverse and reverse so-called “chronic diseases” by removing the amount of drops that cause the bucket to fill up and end up with the diagnosis of “autoimmune disease” because people don’t know what factors are involved.” So my question is always, “How badly do you want to know something?”. Everything has a cause.
So actually bizarre that on the one hand tremendously heavy medication is administered that disables the natural protection and on the other hand usually nothing or little is done to remove the causes.
So usually the thought is that you just have to learn to live with it. After all, an CAUSE has NOT BEEN FINDED. But in many cases, autoimmune diseases are definitely reversible.
My thesis: “The body is not sick because the body is deficient in a particular drug.
The body is sick because it is precisely deficient in nutrients and excess in toxins and other stressful factors that the body can no longer process.”
Looking for the cause is the beginning of healing!
